Dead men shall tell no lies//Anna and Loki

lokiofmidgard:

"I’m assuming by they you mean the Asgardians." Loki supplied before pushing his plate away. He didn’t know where to start. How was he supposed to even put all that happened into words? "What do you last remember of my time on Midgard?"

"I remember that you were avoiding them, and everyone really. But even after what you did… Your family was there, I just thought you had went back for good." She sighed and shook her head. "How did you end up in the dungeons?"

"I should hope so, otherwise I’d have to worry about you being drunk on blood all the time." She grinned, leaning her head back as he held onto her hair. "But you’re not getting any of mine."

"Yeah," he huffed and rolled his eyes, biting playfully on her neck and jawline as if teasing her about breaking her skin,
"Not a vampire so don’t worry. Just a… fetish for the time being."

image

"And indulging this new fetish of yours is supposed to help beat it, how?" She asked, tipping her head back slightly to encourage his bites.

lokiofmidgard:

"I understand. Your worries are quite justified my friend." He mumbled before rubbing his forehead, brushing black hair back. He really needed a haircut.

"I do not owe you answers. But you do deserve them."

"Alright…" She put down her fork and turned more so she was facing him. "Where to start… What happened to you? Because I know you, well, I did know you. I can tell that there’s a lot bothering you. I want to help you, but I know I can’t. So, what did they do?"

"Curiosity? Sorry, but I think blood must be far more interesting to you than it is to me." She laughed softly and held his face as she deepened the kiss. "But it doesn’t taste to bad…"

"Possibly. I have not had this intense… need for blood before," he smiled, curling his hand into her hair,
"You are very beautiful, Anna. And that is not the blood talking," he snickered.

"I should hope so, otherwise I’d have to worry about you being drunk on blood all the time." She grinned, leaning her head back as he held onto her hair. "But you’re not getting any of mine."

He sighed and took another bite of the meal before him. “I suppose I do owe you answers…” His silverware clattered onto the plate and he clasped his hands together.

Loki mulled over the question. “I suppose it was really bad. It depends on your definition of the word.”

"You don’t owe me answers." She said softly. "It’s just that after so long, you could have been dead. And then yesterday you’re just back, and something bad clearly happened. You were in dungeons? And you slept for hours on end, surely you can understand why I’m worried."

lokiofmidgard:

"I went to Germany briefly." He replied, dishing up some food on his plate before nibbling at it. Once swallowing, he continued, "You know, during the whole…New York incident. Chitauri army and all that. I’m afraid I do not much remember if I liked it or not."

"Right." She nodded and took a few bites from her own plate while trying to think of some topic of conversation that wouldn’t make things more uncomfortable. Nothing was coming to mind, as always. "You know you don’t have to tell me, but… Whatever it was that happened, however you ended up falling out of the sky and landing on my car. Was it really bad?”

lokiofmidgard:

The male sat at the table, pulling his chair closer once seated so he would be comfortable. “When I’m up there?” He repeated, making a hand movement towards the ceiling, “Yes. Well.” He looked down at his own clothing, “With variations. This is currently more of a battle suited outfit. I do have casual clothing for occasions.”

He smiled at the compliment. “You should see what the others wear. It’s quite impressive as well, considering everything. Though I know it is considered strange fashion here. I’m rather fond of Midgardian formal wear however. The suits and such. I sampled one awhile back in Germany.”

"Considering everything?" She asked, half distracted by the design on his armour. "I’d imagine having almost everything at your disposal makes clothing like this just an afterthought." She laughed and turned back to her food. "Sorry…It’s just, you don’t see stuff like this everyday here."

"So you went to Germany? Did you like it there?" She asked as she poked at her food on the plate. "Other than the clothes of course…"

annaleyson:

"You know, it doesn’t hurt to use manners. Or are you simply conducting a social experiment to see why your son hates you so much?"

"Since you know how little I spare my sons when they insult me, you should mind your tongue a great deal more, Midgardian."

"Does my presence offend you so much?" She asked calmly. "I haven’t insulted you, I haven’t done anything that would lead you to believe I will… Unless of course you know something I don’t?"

lokiofmidgard:

"That will be fine." Loki responded as he followed after her down the hallway. He looked out the windows at the mention of the weather. It was raining, more like sprinkling in all honesty. "Just..a gut feeling I suppose."

He leaned himself against the wall, watching her cook. It was a funny sight. So domestic.

"I am quite comfortable." He lied, with a simple nod. Normally he would have been but right now…not so much. But he couldn’t just take it off. He had spent so long in his prison ra- well. Prison clothes. Mother had made sure they were suitable, even in punishment. He lowered his gaze. Don’t think about her you fool.

"Alright, it’s just that I’ve got a pile of band t-shirts I collected when I was at Wacken a few years ago." She smiled and looked over her shoulder to him. "I know you prefer to dress more formally, but the option’s there if you want it."

When most of the food was ready she started putting it out on the table and gestured for Loki to sit. “Is this what you normally wear then? When you’re up there?” She asked as she looked at his sleeve. “It’s very impressive…”

She groaned and looked down at the blood on her now. “Thor, this is just unhygienic.”

image

"Oh I’ll clean it up," he said and licked some of the blood up, slowly and teasingly before kissing her,
"Where is your sense of curiosity?"

image

"Curiosity? Sorry, but I think blood must be far more interesting to you than it is to me." She laughed softly and held his face as she deepened the kiss. "But it doesn’t taste to bad…"

annaleyson:

"You needed to bleed, stabbed yourself, and now what? Are you going to continue drawing on me with your blood?" She asked as she looked down at her stomach and frowned. "Because blood is really hard to clean off."

image

"Talk dirty to me," he laughed against her tummy, ever amused by her casual nature,
"Don’t you worry about the blood, beautiful," he grinned, impatiently pushing her shirt off and sure enough covered her torso in blood as well.

image

She groaned and looked down at the blood on her now. “Thor, this is just unhygienic.”

lokiofmidgard:

He brought his hands down with the shirt, recoiling as the material slid over the wound now. Maybe he should have just left it alone.

The male reached over, collecting his various pieces of armor and began pulling them back on, “I am fine. I will be out in a moment Anna.” He called back, ignoring the knock at the door.

Fumbling with buckles and pulling leather tight once more, he made himself presentable, only lacking his longer, outer pieces of Asgardian clothing that usually trailed past his knees.

He made his way to the door, opening it and peeking out at her. “Real food would be wonderful.”

"Alright, I’ll make a start on it now. Will a bit of everything suit you?" She asked as she turned back to the hallway and went to hang up her jacket. "What made you think the weather was so bad? It’s hardly even raining now." She said, occasionally turning back to the doorway as she started making a few things to eat, and taking extra time to make sure it was cooked correctly, Loki seemed to have been through enough, it wouldn’t be fair to add food poisoning to the list. "Are you even comfortable wearing all of that?"
